Currently, industrialized countries are experiencing a new historical stage of development associated with the increasing role of information in society. The information dependence of all spheres of life of society and the state is extremely high. Thus, according to American experts, the disruption of computer networks used in the management systems of U.S. government and banking structures can cause serious damage to the country's economy, comparable to the damage caused by the use of nuclear weapons against the United States.
Consequently, the development of information technologies leads to the emergence of qualitatively new forms of struggle, called "information warfare", "information warfare", "information impact".
